vintage is this week’s project 52 theme, so i decided to showcase our little, beloved 1940′s replica wind up tin robot “lilliput” that raney recieved for his birthday a couple years back.  he doesn’t actually wind up anymore but thats ok, he’s loved just the same.

i love when raney wants to help me with my weekly 52′s, so for this week’s theme….perspective, we thought we’d pull out the scrabble board and do some spelling along with some silliness.

here we are, on friday with our 52 project and this week’s theme is strangers.  it may be odd of the picture you see below for this week’s theme, but let me tell you, those storm clouds you see hovering over our house, were such a strange sight to set our eyes on this past week, not that we haven’t had storm clouds reach us this past summer but these particular clouds actually did some amazing work for us…..they actually carried some very, very much needed precipitation with them and drastically cooled our days down.  they stayed with us for a good couple 4-5 days and are now gone but i hope they don’t stay strangers from us for too long.

now lets go see what my friend misty setzler, lubbock, texas photographer is gonna show us for this week’s strangers theme.

here we are on the 10th of september and ready for another ten on ten, where 10 photographers, take a picture an hour, throughout a particular day.  here you can check out august, if you missed last month.  this was our day: school lunch to be made, raney jumping into mom & dad’s bed to watch morning cartoons before getting ready for school, laundry, running errands, mid-day snack, alarm for school pick-up, after school snack, friendly game of guess who? (star wars edition), off to t-ball practice.
