he turned “seven” just 21 days ago….he is growing up way too quickly in my eyes, much more faster than i had imagined when i would spend hours upon hours of just watching him sleep as a baby (in all honestly i still do, watch him sleep that is ).  i feel so very blessed that i was hand picked to be his mommy and that he made all my dreams come true.  i only wish i could express in words the love i have for our little guy, but i just don’t feel there are enough out there that can convey and describe how my heart feels, i just know that he makes it feel completely WHOLE!

is all that separates these two brothers, my nephews!  we did their milestone 2 years (ryder) and 6 months (rhett) pictures back in the beginning of February (ummmm, as you can tell, i’m a little behind on posting sessions, once again-ha!).  i’ve got to be the luckiest aunt around as i get to be an aunt to 3 amazing little guys (the 3rd, will, you can find here from his 1st bday session).

every once in a while you need to shoot just for “you”!  i was in a little bit of a funk when it came to shooting about a month ago, so i enlisted one my son’s adorable little friends, sophia, to come out and play with me!  she was perfect, as you can see in these images and with the collaboration of her mom, myself and most importantly sophia’s style this is what we came up with.  and anyone that know’s this little 6 year old’s fun, funky personality, knows these styles fit her to a tee, she really has a sense of style all her own!  oh and you’ll see she brought along her little co-star, mikey!  just too cute!  stay tuned for part 2 coming next week!
