you are turning seven…..and we are off at Disneyland celebrating!

every once in a while you need to shoot just for “you”!  i was in a little bit of a funk when it came to shooting about a month ago, so i enlisted one my son’s adorable little friends, sophia, to come out and play with me!  she was perfect, as you can see in these images and with the collaboration of her mom, myself and most importantly sophia’s style this is what we came up with.  and anyone that know’s this little 6 year old’s fun, funky personality, knows these styles fit her to a tee, she really has a sense of style all her own!  oh and you’ll see she brought along her little co-star, mikey!  just too cute!  stay tuned for part 2 coming next week!

here we are in all our glory…thought this would be a little comical!  kurt and i were on our way to our first gladiator rock-n-run, the morning of st. patricks day and got a shot of our “tough guy” sides!  haha, raney and i made need to do a little more practice on showing our guns!  we’ve run many races but this was our first race with “obstacles”, we had a blast and can’t wait for the next one!  although we both decided we can definitely do without the polar plunge……whoa, that was FREEZING!!!!!!!!!

my little nephew, will, turned 1 back in november and due to my super busy holiday season schedule that i wasn’t too prepared for, we weren’t able to do his official one year old pictures till a couple months ago.  i have the best sister-in-law who was so accommodating and laid back about the whole situation.  we did get couple pictures of him back when he did celebrate his birthday but here are a few from his one year old session from this past january……..
